Current Definition

According to Tomasello, et al. (1993), cultural learning is identified with social learning involving "intersubjectivity" and "perspective-taking". Children develop through three logically dependent stages: "learning, imitative", "learning, instructed" and collaborative learning. Human culture is reproduced and produced through cultural learning.
